Cougared’s slogan competition: and the winner is…

Remember a few weeks ago we launched a competition to find a new slogan for Cougard.com? Well we had some great entries from site members and it was a real tough one to pick a winner, but I’m pleased to announce the winner is Lulu from the UK who came up with the line:

“Where the women are older and bolder”

We thought that was a pretty cool slogan and the Amazon gift vouchers are on their way to Lulu. But the more we thought about it, the more we realised that one of the best things about the web is that unlike a magazine it’s totally interactive and always evolving. So we decided we are going to have a rotating slogan that changes now and then just to make it a bit more interesting, so look out for that.

Finally, I’d like to thank site member and marketing guru Will who wrote back offering his slogan writing services for a “minimum of $60,000″. We were tempted to accept your offer but then we figured that we didn’t want to deprive Madison Avenue of your much needed skills in this time of economic crisis so we decided to be selfless and pass it up.
